Rainy attic room is a charming narrative video game where players can accompany a person who is suffering from depression. Your goal: to try to form a friendship with that person and, hopefully, make them feel a little better.
The main character in Rainy attic room lives in an attic where it is always raining. The walls are damp, the floor is cold and everything looks sad and dull. Your unhappy buddy is surrounded by boxes that they have not unpacked, and they have no furniture or decorations. However, with your help and support, you can gradually transform this attic into a pleasant place to live. To do this, you will need blue or red tears. With these tears you can purchase some of the furniture from the catalog.
Also, you start the game with five talking points. To talk to your friend, just tap on them. However, there will come a time when the conversation dies down. Every five minutes, you will have the chance to get them talking again. Finally, on the roof there is a skylight from which you can see outside, and this will be where you can collect tears to buy upgrades for your friend.
Rainy attic room is a slow-paced game where not much can be done and, in that sense, it helps us to understand that, no matter how much we want someone to stop being sad, it takes time and patience to make even the smallest changes. A nice and simple game that helps us to understand the importance of mental health.
